So Friday night was randomly awesome! Brian Reece invited Ben Everett and myself to Shinedown and Seether at the Electric Factory. I wouldn’t list Metal as my music of choice, but the concert was fun. I heard a couple of songs that brought me back to summers in Illinois. Shinedown also played a version of “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd that rocked.

The night also offered me a Duke ticket for Saturday. I love getting free anything, especially tickets. Duke @ Temple was a good time, close game, but no win. I’m not sure there is a college basketball team I dislike more than Duke. They have a great program and are very talented and deserved to win, but I hate them, I hate them more than Jesus hates sin.

I did witness history on two fronts. First, JJ Redick set the all-time ACC scoring record. Second, JJ Redick was held to the lowest point total of the season, 11 points.
