The racetrack is an amazing event.  Tiny men climb aboard enormous creatures and run them in a circle.  All-the-while striking them with whips and attempting to steer past other horses, staring through mud-coated goggles.  We experience all of this so Billy-Bob can place $2 on the #3 horse to place; pay-out $4.
